Here’s another great spaghetti squash recipe from steamykitchen.com. Ā If you’re only feeding 4-6 people, I suggest cooking the spaghetti squash whole, then only using half of the squash when you’re ready to sautĆ© with the tomatoes.Ā I like my spaghetti squash not too hard, not too soft. Found on thecoconutmama.com food blog, these bacon and egg coconut flour muffins are easy to make and are wonderful high protein breakfast option.Ā I make a few batches of these every month so my family has a healthy, protein rich, quick breakfast option on hand.Ā They freeze well too!

If you find yourself with extra carrot culls, try Great Grandma’s Sheep-Wagon Carrot Cake (found at Cooks.com).Ā My recipe is more than 30 years old and was given me by my sister-in-law. I googled the name on an off chance and there it was, almost identical.Ā I always used a bit less sugar, and maybe a touch more butter but it makes great muffins too (just shorten baking time).Ā The cake doesn’t need a frosting, but if you like frosting you can add this one from Allrecipes.com. Hi Everyone, Cool and dry about sums up the prevailing weather conditions here on the farm. We have already had 2 light frosts, but they were very light and spotty and havenāt done much damage. I am hopeful we will get a couple more weeks before a more damaging frost occurs. We are busy again moving the sprinklers around the fields beginning with the final plantings of herbs and spinach so they will germinate. (more…)
